    Old Soviet Dogs re-union, +newchurch+, s0.any

  3. Old Soviet Dogs

  4. + newchurch +

    muzika za : Nocturne

New Church predstavlja singl projekat (člana bendova sveta pseta, eaglehaslanded, radost-stradanje) oformljen 1995, koji seže za svojim pratiocima iz distorziranih dubina Beogradskog predgrađa.

Kombinujući elektro nojz sa uplivima melanholičnih jednorifnih gitarskih deonica i pokličnim pojanjem, New Church jeste hodočašće, donoseći poruku iz neznanih mesta, najavljujući svoje postojanje kroz šapute i tihe korake u mraku, igra senki izbušena hipnotišućim, repetativnim mantrama.

  5. s0.any

    music for : Windstill

Isabel Soany dwell in the field of sound where she observe phenomenas related to voice, memory, time, speech. Her sound is quite inspired by visual composition and appears in musical form of audio-photographies. Raw catching of the sound interpretation of reality duplicate the vuals of meanings - perception recording - highlighting those points of attention and movements of thought that are familiar to film language.

  6. Film program :

  7. Philip S.Solomon - Nocturne (US, 1980, 11')

'NOCTURNE strongly evokes one of Brakhage's most exquisite films, FIRE OF WATERS (1965). Its setting is a suburban neighborhood populated by kids at play and indistinct but ominous parental figures. A submerged narrative rehearses a type of young boy's nighttime game in which a flashlight is wielded in a darkened room to produce effects of aerial combat and bombardment. A sense of hostility tinged with terror seeps into commonplace movements... Fantasy merges with nightmare, a war of dimly suppressed emotions rages beneath a veneer of household calm... In NOCTURNE, found footage is worked so subtly into the fabric of threat that its apperception comes as a shock ploughed from the unconscious. --Paul Arthur

  8. Franz Winzensten - Windstill (DE, 1969, 12')

    Figures in a side-scrolling landscape.

  9. Bruce Conner - Mea Culpa (US, 1981, 5')

In his first collaboration with David Byrne and Brian Eno, Conner used footage from educational films to create a rhythmically austere image-track for music from their pioneering “sampling” album My Life in the Bush of Ghosts (1981).

  10. Walter Ungerer - Ubi est terram oobiae? (CA, 1969, 6')

From "Introduction to Oobieland, Part Two of Oobieland moves to a television studio in New York City where the Princess of Oobieland is being interviewed and asked to describe this place called "Oobieland". She says you can't locate it on any maps. "There are no maps of it". She is then asked her opinion about the American landscape, American women, American men and the climate in America. Her answers though insightful, are not altogether flattering.

  11. Walerian Borowczyk - Renaissance (FR, 1964, 9')

To the sound of trumpets, a collection of pulverised antique bric-a-brac begins to reassemble itself, revealing a stuffed owl, a cornet, a hamper, books, a doll, a plate - and a bomb

  12. Wilhelm Freddie & Jorden Roos - Spiste Horisonter (DK, 1950, 4')

Two men, using the back-side of a nude woman as their table, eat a loaf of bread, then cut a hole in the woman's body and eat her insides.
